This site is dedicated to my new
"toy". The Sebring MX by Classic
Roadsters. This is a replica vehicle,
which is based on the Austin Healey 3000 Mk. III. The basic bodylines are
there but put it on steroids. This car has attitude. Kind of a "get
out of the way" looks with the performance to back it up. I hope this
site will give some insights on what it takes to finish a vehicle like this.
This is similar to what it will look like.
Car Is Sold (See new owner for sale link below)
On April 22, 2000, my Sebring has found a new home.
Since I will no longer be working on this car, I will not be updating it
with any new info. I will keep this site open for as long as I can. If the
new owner supplies me with pictures or build info, I will try to post them
on this site. I has been a interesting project and I have learned many things.
I would like to thank Chris Spicer, to whom has helped me from day one.
He has put in a lot of hours of blood, sweat and tears. I would also like
to thank everyone who have e-mailed me and been following along with this
build up. I have added a few more pictures and two mpeg movies. I hope you
enjoy. If you would like to follow along with my next project, please follow this link.
Thanks again.
The new owner has been keeping in touch with me
over the last year. He sent me some pitures of the Sebring, finished and
on the road. Boy it is great to see the car again and I am very happy it
is on the road. I am hoping to one day, get together with him and take a
ride in it. Thanks for everyone who keeps coming to this site. I can't believe
I am still getting about 40 hits a week. I am sorry I don't have anymore
details.
